29th IEEE International Symposium on Design and Diagnostics of Electronic Circuits and Systems
Bratislava, Slovakia, April 27 – 29, 2026

The IEEE International Symposium on Design and Diagnostics of Electronic Circuits and Systems provides a forum for exchanging ideas, discussing research results, and presenting practical applications in the areas of design, test and diagnosis of electronic circuits and systems.

Topics of interest include the following main areas, but are not restricted to them:

Digital Circuit Design and Next Generation Chips
Topic chair: Sara Vinco, Politecnico di Torino, IT

Verification and Test
Topic chair: Goerschwin Fey, Hamburg University of Technology, DE

Analog Circuit Design and Test
Topic chair: Viera Stopjakova, FEI STU Bratislava, SK

Emerging Technologies & Security
Topic chair: Jie Han, University of Alberta, CA

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Prospective authors are cordially invited to submit original papers using the electronic submission system at the Symposium web page. Papers in English following the IEEE conference style are expected. Types of submissions:

Regular Papers (6 pages) presenting novel and completed research work.

Student Papers (4 Pages) presenting novel, promising research results; the first author must be a student.

Embedded tutorials (3 pages) in an area relevant to DDECS. The proposal must contain the title, motivation, extended abstract, and speakers’ short bios. If the 3-page tutorial proposal is accepted, the authors may optionally prepare a proceeding tutorial paper of up to 8 pages. This paper will undergo an additional review.

Special sessions (3 pages) in an area relevant to DDECS. The proposal must contain the title, motivation, extended abstract, and speakers’ short bios. If the 3-page proposal is accepted, the authors may optionally prepare a proceeding paper of up to 8 pages. This paper will undergo an additional review. Another option is to submit individual contributions as regular papers that will undergo the standard review process. Accepted papers will be presented in the same session and included in the Symposium Proceedings.

 

DDECS 2026 will produce Formal Proceedings of accepted papers that will be submitted for possible inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
