Submission instructions
Prospective authors are cordially invited to submit original papers using the electronic submission system [https://www.conftool.org/ddecs2026]. The accepted file format is PDF. Papers in English following the IEEE conference style are expected. Format: A4 or Letter size pages, double column, single spaced, Times or equivalent font, at minimum 10pt size, avoiding the use of type-3 fonts. It strongly encourages to use the IEEE conference manuscript templates [https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates].
Types of submissions:
- Regular Papers (6 pages) presenting novel and completed research work.
- Student Papers (4 Pages) presenting novel, promising research results; the first author must be a student.
- Embedded tutorials (3 pages) in an area relevant to DDECS. The proposal must contain the title, motivation, extended abstract, and speakers’ short bios. If the 3-page tutorial proposal is accepted, the authors may optionally prepare a proceeding tutorial paper of up to 8 pages. This paper will undergo an additional review.
- Special sessions (3 pages) in an area relevant to DDECS. The proposal must contain the title, motivation, extended abstract, and speakers’ short bios. If the 3-page proposal is accepted, the authors may optionally prepare a proceeding paper of up to 8 pages. This paper will undergo an additional review. Another option is to submit individual contributions as regular papers that will undergo the standard review process. Accepted papers will be presented in the same session and included in the Symposium Proceedings.
All accepted papers will be included in the Formal Proceedings and will be submitted for possible inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Important:
Submissions simultaneously under review or accepted by another conference or journal will be rejected.
As we apply a single-blind review process, submissions can be made available as pre-prints (e.g., on arXiv).
The list and order of the authors cannot be modified after the submission deadline.
Each accepted paper shall be accompanied by at least one conference registration. Moreover, at least one author for each paper is expected to attend the session and deliver the presentation, otherwise the paper will be removed from the published proceedings.
